It was Rebecca who oriented the whole thing around gender—she pointed out that the pandemic seemed to be reinscribing old norms, like, even in our situation, Morgan was rather compulsively chopping wood, and I was learning how to bake. And then the moviemaking itself became super gender normative, with Morgan handling most of the techy stuff and me doing the costume design. Very cliché.
